Resolve a partial match

Find out how to resolve a partial match with your a pension administered by Isio

All your pensions, all in one place.

Simply put, a pension dashboard combines information from all your pension savings – even those long-forgotten ones – in one convenient place. Giving you a full and meaningful overview of your potential retirement income.

Key features

1. Combined view

On a pension dashboard, you can see information from all your different workplace pensions, personal pensions, and the State Pension in one place. This can give you a better understanding of your potential income at retirement, especially if you have pensions from a number of previous employers.

“The average working person in the UK has around six different employers in their lifetime. That can mean six different pensions and six lots of administrators to contact to get pensions information.”

2. Find lost or forgotten pensions

Find pensions you’ve lost touch with, or you may have forgotten you had. By entering some identifying information, the governments pensions finding service will securely find any previous pensions.

“There are around £27 billion of unclaimed pension pots in the UK.”

3. Keep in touch with your providers

Once your pensions are located, you can use the dashboard to stay in contact with your pension providers. Dashboards feature links to each of your providers, allowing you to easily contact them if you need to update your contact details, make changes to your investments, arrange to take your pension at retirement, and more.

How does it work?

All dashboards use the governments pensions finding services to find pensions matching your details.

  1. You’ll need to prove your identity using GOV.UK One Login

  2. You’ll also need to enter your National Insurance number (if you know it)
  3. You’ll be matched with your pension records
  4. If any pension records are not an exact match –perhaps due to a name change since working for that employer – you’ll be given the option to contact the provider to confirm if the pension record belongs to you.
  5. If you have already retired or are semi-retired the dashboard will not show you any pensions that are already in payment.

You’ll need
  • A mobile phone
  • Photo ID to set up your GOV.UK One login (if you don’t have one)
  • National Insurance number, if you know it

Pension dashboards are free to use, if you are being asked to pay for this service it may not be legitimate – please read the information on potential dashboard scams.
